My beautiful family

I scanned the picture onto the computer so it's not the best quality. It still turned out pretty well if you ask me! : )

This was the first family photo we had professionally done. Sean and Haley look soooo much alike in this picture!! For Christmas Sean and I decided to get family photos with each of our families. We got large portraits taken of our whole family on each side. They turned out really nice. Haley didn't like the studio all that much, so it was a little difficult getting good photos of her. All in all it was a good experience with great memories.

15 months

Haley is 15 months old now!! She's still in 9 months clothes so she isn't growing that much in the size department, but developmentally she is well beyond her age. She seems to learn things very quickly, and most of the time it's stuff she teaches herself. It's just amazing to me how quickly she has grown-up.

There isn't a whole lot going on these days. It's just boring everyday stay-at-home mom stuff! : ) I would like to brag about Sean, though. Last weekend I went to Austin with my mom and sister to do some more wedding planning. I was a little nervous about leaving Haley with Sean for the whole weekend. I mean he's watched her alone before, but never that long. He didn't seem nervous at all, so I think that just made me more nervous! Everything went great, though. He would send me pics periodically so I'd know she was alive and well! : ) I'm so glad Haley has a good daddy that loves her and will always take care of her. We are both so blessed!

All about Haley

Haley is 14 months old now (almost 15 months), and just as happy as ever. She is learning so much everyday. It's just amazing to me how quickly she picks up on things. She is such a joy to be around, and I love that I'm able to watch her grow and learn everyday!

Here's a list of Haley's interests, what she is learning, and accomplishments:

• She loves dogs! She goes "woof woof" every time she sees one or when we ask her what a dog says.
  
• She says thank-you when you hand her things, and even when she hands it back she says thanks. : )
• She is learning different body parts. She can say eyes, and point to her eyes. She knows ears, nose and tummy and point to them all. We like to sing the head, shoulder, knees and toes song and act it out as well.
• Loves books!! We tell her to go get a book, and she'll go pick one out and bring it back for us to read.
  
• She can almost walk up and down the stairs. (holding on to the rail or our hands of course)
• Loves being outside!(that's nothing new) They finally finished the park next to our house, and she just loves it. She walks around like she owns the place. She gets MAD if we go inside! For a sweet girl she sure has a temper at times!!
• She's learned how to undress herself. : l This one is not so cute!! She has taken off her pj's and her DIRTY diaper in her crib twice now. I walked into her room to find a naked baby standing in her crib. She made a complete mess of her crib. Disgusting!! Oh, man it was by far one of the least favorite mom duties I have had.
• She gets into everything!! No drawer, cabinet or closet is safe!! : ) Her favorite thing is to pull something out of our dresser,like a shirt, and put it on her head and run around. It's pretty cute, except for the mess of clothes left behind.

Blog Not Abandoned!

I know it's been forever since I've blogged! Sorry, sorry SORRY!! (no need to hassle any more) : ) It's been pretty busy around here. I'm trying to learn balance, but it's a little more difficult than I thought. Sometimes just going with the flow is what works best. (No matter how hard you try to follow a routine) I'll post an update on all things Haley tonight or tomorrow, but for today I'll get everyone caught up on photos. I know that's what you've all been wanting! : )
