This and That

We've had another busy couple of weeks. We went to Houston 2 weekends ago, and then to Austin this past weekend. Haley is becoming quite the traveler. This past trip to Houston she didn't sleep at all. She watched 2 and a half movies and didn't throw a fit once. It was surprising to be honest. On the way to Austin she didn't sleep either, but she was a little fussier at times. She still did well though.

Sean left for Colombia early Sunday morning for work. My best friend Jessica decided to come out and stay with me while he is gone. Thank goodness!! I love Haley to death, but man can she be a handful. All day and all night with just her and I was going to be exhausting  It's nice to have someone to hang-out with during the day as well. Haley likes having her around too. 

Haley loves having picnics. It's something that makes lunch more fun. This is one of our upstairs picnics.

We built a fort in the living room one Saturday morning. Haley had more fun tearing it down than actually playing in, but she enjoyed it for awhile.

Part Three: JV '09

We went to Galveston this year for our Johnson Family Vacation. It was like deja vu for Sean and I since we had just been there a few weeks before. It was still lots of fun though. We went to Moody Gardens one day, the beach another, and did some sight-seeing.

Haley really enjoyed Moody Gardens. She got to see lots of fish, penguins, sea turtles, and sharks. The penguins were her favorite I think. We went to a dinosaur exhibit as well and she really liked that too. We left that exhibit with a new stuffed animal! (She got to pick one thing, and that's what she picked)  :)

They had a water park at Moody Gardens with a water slide. Sean took Haley on that a few times and she just looked so excited. She probably could've gone down the slide all day. She's such a water baby!

It was great to hang-out with all my family!! My cousin JD and his wife Sara have two daughters, so Haley had some little friends. She really liked Kennedi. She likes older girls. Nixon (the youngest) and Haley would play a little, but mainly just stare at each other. It was fun just having everyone together. We can be a pretty rowdy bunch!!
