Haley is almost crawling. She can push herself up onto her little knees, but she can't move forward just yet. She tries to scoot forward but usually just ends up pushing herself backwards. She tries so hard!! She usually gets frustrated after 5 minutes or so when she can't get a moving. I'm sure in the next few days she'll be moving all over the house (Scary!!). She already likes to get into everything. This will just make it easier for the little monster. : )
Her second tooth has started to grow in. She occasionally will grin at us and you can see her little teeth. It's so cute! I can't stick my fingers in her mouth anymore, because she bites me. It hurts! Her teeth are pretty sharp.
I've started to give Haley a bottle of formula every few days. I'm still nursing, but I'm not producing as much as I was. So pumping a bottle for her isn't easy. I've nursed for the full 6 months that are recommended, so I feel fine with giving Haley formula from time to time. She took to it right away which was really nice. I've enjoyed breastfeeding a great deal. It's given me the chance to bond with Haley and build an amazing relationship with her. It hasn't always been easy, but I'm glad I've stuck it out. The benefits for her and I are unreal.
Haley's started to sleep on her stomach at night. I always put her down on her back but she rolls over sometime during the night. Sean thinks it's so cute. I'll notice pictures on the camera of her sleeping on her stomach. He takes them before he goes to work in the morning. She still wakes up once or twice during the night. I give her her pacifier, and try to let her just cry it out. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Hopefully she'll start sleeping through the whole night soon!
