Weekends in Suburbia
After Haley's unpleasantness Friday afternoon, she decided to be my friend again.
bubbles have a way of doing that!
on friday nights we either go out to eat or I plan a fun dinner at home. This friday we stayed in and had a delicious dinner.
-Beef braised short ribs
-polenta with goat cheese
-Mac and Cheese with bacon (at Sean's request)
-buttered rosemary rolls
It was out-of-this-world good!! Sean said it was one of the best things I had ever made, and I cook a lot. that dinner paired with a couple glasses of wine made for a nice end to a long week.
Saturday haley and I spent a good portion of the morning at the park while sean mowed the lawn. Nobody was at the park so haley had free reign. she is becoming quite the climber. she can climb up on pretty much anything out there. She may be little but that never stops her!

"what are you looking at haley?" asked mommy.
"just Daddy mowing the lawn" said haley.
it got cold later that day so we pretty much just stayed in the rest of the day.
sunday we went shopping for home decor. that's what we suburbanites do on the weekends, tend to our yards and shop for our houses! : ) Sean and I have lived in our house for almost 2 years and we are still decorating it. We've gotten super motivated lately to get it finished. we're pretty indecisive though, so we buy and return things all the time. it's finally starting to look complete and i couldn't be happier.
